Point of Sale Enhancement Survey

Last month, we conducted a survey to help us determine which product enhancements are most important to you - the Meals Plus User. We received a lot of excellent feedback and look forward to implementing the changes that will best benefit your operation. Thank you to everyone that participated!

Congratulations to Meals Plus Team Member Jared for successfully passing the Microsoft 70-461 and 70-462 exams! He is now fluent in queries and administration of Microsoft SQL Server 2012.

Wish him luck as he progresses toward a Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert Certification!

Menus Passes CN16 Evaluation

Meals Plus' Menu Planning and Nutrient Analysis Program has passed the first phase of approval for nutrient analysis for the new meal pattern. Earlier this year a USDA evaluator informed our development team that the Menus program passed the evaluation for CN16 analysis. The USDA is still reviewing the program for 6 cents certification, the final phase of approval for compliance with new meal pattern regulations.

Software Enhancement Request Tool

In an effort to be more responsive to customer needs, Meals Plus has added an Enhancement Request Tool on our Support Site! The form gives you the ability to ensure your software enhancement request is submitted accurately and in a timely manner. The tool also gives you the ability to easily attach files to better clarify your request.

This is the first step in the creating a system that will give customers the ability to check the status of their enhancement request conveniently on our website. Through these enhancements, we will continue to provide you with all of the tools you need to manage your district operations.

Simply login to our Support Site and click on the "Enhancement Request" tab to submit your request.

Meet the Team: Tony

Tony is the newest member of the Meals Plus Support Team who is working hard to provide you with the best customer support in K-12 software.

The Dish: How long have you been at Meals Plus?
Tony: I have been with Meals Plus since October 2012.

TD: What duties and responsibilities does your position entail?
T: I am a Technical Account Specialist handling customer support and training.

TD: What aspects of your position do you enjoy the most?
T: I enjoy meeting new people and helping them resolve issues.

TD: What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
T: I like reading, traveling and spending time with friends and family.

TD: What was your favorite lunch when you were in school?
T: Those really sticky peanut butter and honey (it might have been jelly) sandwiches I ate in elementary school.
