The sequence is important and must be performed in order.

The first thing you need to do is to set up your verification method and percentages. This information must be set up before the application count date in order to get the correct counts |

This is where the program selects the applications to be verified. |
|
|
This displays the applications that were on file at the time the Application count was completed. |
|
|
This is done after applications are selected but before any selection letters have been created. You can compare the paper applications to the electronic applications, ensuring that the application data was entered correctly. |

|
After completing the confirmation review, you may replace up to 5% of the applications on a case-by-case basis if you believe that the household would not be able to respond to the verification request.
|

|
After Selection, the selected households must be sent a letter to inform them that they have been selected and tell them what information is required.
|
|
|
When the information is received back from the selected households, enter the information here. |
|
|
Every application that was selected for verification must have a results letter printed before verification can be closed. |
|
|
You can go back to Selection and add more applications before Verification is closed if necessary. |
|
|
This finalizes verification, and sets up the data for the SFA Reports. |
