  • New! A Strict Meals Only (S) has been added that when set prohibits a student from charging an a la carte item if their balance remains negative at the end of the transaction.
    • The new Strict Meals Only (S) charge policy can be found in the Default Charge dropdown on the Other Configurations tab in Administration: Site Setup, and the Charge dropdown on the Miscellaneous tab in Student: Account Setup.
      • Use Account Setup to set the Charge Policy to an individual Student.

      • Selecting this Default Charge means that the student account must have a positive balance at the end of the transaction to charge milk or supplemental sales. Example:  If the student’s account balance is -$2.65, and they come through the line to purchase a Reimbursable Meal for $2.30 and a Milk for ($0.80), and add $5.00 to their account, they will only be able to purchase the Reimbursable Meal ($2.30) since the balance at the end of the transaction will still be negative.

      • When the charge policy is set to Strict Meals Only (S), and a student attempts to purchase a reimbursable meal and an a la carte item (or a la carte only) with a negative balance, the following message will display.

  • New! A new Eligibility by Application Type report has been added to Student Eligibility that displays eligibility statuses by application type so users can see the detailed distribution per site.
