Item Groups are optional group settings that can be used to group and filter items in Item Maintenance, Orders and Transactions.
You can have as many Item Groups as you need for various local purposes. Each item can only be assigned to one Item Group.
For example, if you want to see only special Breakfast items on a screen, you could set up an Item Group Breakfast Items for items that are only served at breakfast.
Enter a Description for each group and click Save.
Then you can go to Item Maintenance and assign the appropriate items to their Item Groups.
