**Click on any of the links to be taken to that section of the Help files.**

  • New! Par Level Alerts have been added! A new option to receive Par Level Alerts, and an email address to receive those alerts, has been added to the User Setup form under Security in System Management

    • Check the Par Level Alert Emails box, and enter an Email Address to receive par level alerts via email as part of the Daily Jobs.
      • An email will be sent to the entered email address if an item is at, or below, its par level.

  • New! Customers can now sign in using their Active Directory login credentials. A section for Active Directory setup has been added in System Management: Administration: Control Information.  This tells Meals Plus the type of authentication to use when accessing Meals Plus
    • Customers will need to enter their Domain Name and Path (usually starts with LDAP).  Meals Plus recommends the IT Dept. enters this information.  Once saved, a new menu option (User Import from Active Directory) appears under Security.
      • The Meals Plus Log In screen has a new Use Active Directory checkbox. When using Active Directory logins, check this box and customers will sign in with their Active Directory credentials.
        • This checkbox only appears after the Active Directory information is entered in System Management: Control Information.
          • Additionally, when this box is checked, the Password field maximum length is removed and when Touch Screen On is clicked, your Windows keyboard will display since Active Directory passwords are case sensitive.
          • After the Active Directory information is inputted into the Control Information form, the district’s IT Department can Import users from Active Directory here instead of manually entering new users into Meals Plus.

          • Customers will need to Select a Group from their Active Directory users.  This will populate the grid of groups of which the user is a member.
            • Select the users to import by checking the box(es) by the user names.
            • Then select a User Group from Meals Plus to import the users into from the Set the User Group dropdown list, and click Create.
            • These customers will now use their Active Directory User Name and Password to sign into Meals Plus, so no password will display in User Setup.
