Clarendon School District 3 (SC) Receives Awards for Academic Excellence!

We love to see schools receive recognition for any achievement that enriches the lives of children. In this case, one of the newest members of the Meals Plus Family, Clarendon School District 3 (SC) has received a Palmetto Gold Award and a Palmetto Silver Award from the South Carolina Department of Education for the 2011-2012 school year.

East Clarendon Middle/High School has closed the achievement gap in grades 6-8 and the general performance of grades 6-12 has earned them two gold awards. The silver award for general performance went to Walker-Gamble Elementary School.

The Gold and Silver awards are given to schools to recognize them for their high level of academic achievement and for high rates of improvement.

The school officials agree that these achievements are the product of hard working teachers, faculty, students, parents and board members. Congratulations Clarendon District 3 from all of us here at Meals Plus!

Clarendon School District 3 recently added the Meals Plus Suite to their cafeteria management program, including Point of Sale, Free & Reduced Management, Menu Planning and Nutrient Analysis, Inventory, Production Records, Financial and Accountability.
