Customer Spotlight: Kristi Casey, Beaumont USD (CA)

Kristi Casey of Beaumont USD in Beaumont, CA is one of the most well-versed staff members in her district when it comes to all things Meals Plus. Which is no small task considering that Beaumont USD utilizes almost every cafeteria management software program in the Meals Plus Product Suite, including point of sale, free/reduced management, menu analysis and cafeteria inventory management. The Dish: How long have you been using Meals Plus?
Kristi Casey: Beaumont Unified School District started using Meals Plus May 2011.

TD: What duties and responsibilities does your position entail?
KC: My position, Bookkeeper II is responsible for all aspects of the cash control and meal counting and claiming procedures for the department. I am also the key point of contact in the district for any inquiries involving the Meals Plus POS system.

TD: What aspects of your position do you enjoy the most?
KC: I enjoy being challenged researching discrepancies in the daily operations of the Child Nutrition Department.

TD: What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
KC: I love to spend time with my three daughters, and enjoy watching them play competitive sports, including softball, soccer and basketball.

TD: What what your favorite cafeteria lunch when you were a student?
KC: I have to admit my favorite lunch was the pizza, which was in the Beaumont School District, as I am also a Beaumont High School graduate myself.
