Food Service Employees Day Spotlight: Dani Matteoli

In honor of National Food Service Employees Day, we invited child nutrition directors across the country to tell us about a cafeteria staff member of their choice to be featured on our website! Our first featured employee is Dani Matteoli of Fairborn City School District.

Dani Matteoli is the Cafeteria Manager at Fairborn Primary School in Fairborn, Ohio. Fairborn Primary is the largest elementary school in Ohio and serves approximately 1,530 K-3 graders breakfast and lunch. Dani has served in the district for 25 years and manages nine employees. She has also managed the summer lunch program and is active in local and state nutrition associations. Dani was recently recognized as 2012 Food Service Employee of the Year for Fairborn City Schools.
