Meals Plus an Integral Piece in Brand-New Food Service Program

This summer was a busy one for Windham School District’s Rhonda Peckham. The new Food Service Director tackled the enormous task of launching a food service program for the New Hampshire school district. She hired a full cafeteria staff registered the school district with the New Hampshire Buying Group joined the Farm to School program selected a food company and chose Meals Plus to be their food service software system.

Not to mention she did all of this in the first year of the Healthy Hunger-Free Kids Act meal pattern requirement changes. But with the help of Marye Hewett Meals Plus Implementation and Training Coordinator the implementation process for their new cafeteria management system was a smooth one. Technical Account Specialist Cassie Stroehmer was on-site to train administrative and cafeteria staff before the first day of school. Thats what sets apart the Meals Plus Tech Support Staff from others ? they are the trainers that physically go to your schools to get them ready to go! They actually spend time in school cafeterias.

We hope Rhonda and everyone at Windham School District have a great school year and welcome them to the Meals Plus Family! For more information on their new food service program check out this Windham Patch article.
