National School Lunch Week 2012
In honor of National School Lunch Week (October 15-19th, 2012) we are sharing tips, stories and ideas on how your child nutrition department can celebrate! The School Nutrition Association has lots of NSLW resources including:
- New recipes for your cafeteria that help make it easy to stay compliant with the new meal pattern requirements
- A 15 page resource booklet with out-of-the-box tips to make this NSLW more exciting than ever
- Merchandise for your cafeteria and its staff including posters and balloons at the SNA Emporium
- Access to National School Lunch Week logos and graphic artwork to use for your own marketing
- School lunch activity sheets and games for students and flyers to send home
- Marketing and PR Tools including PowerPoint Presentations, press releases and web banners for your district website.
You can even enter to win National School Lunch Week stickers for your school by telling the SNA what you’re doing to celebrate NSLW. And to continue promoting your program through the year, the SNA even has tips on how you can share your NSLW experiences with others.
