SNEW Spotlight: Child Nutrition Staff at Columbus School District (WI)

In honor of School Nutrition Employee Week (May 2-6, 2016), we are featuring child nutrition superstars from across the country. Child Nutrition Director Brenda Maier of Columbus School District (WI) is celebrating her staff and school food service staff across her state, and here’s why:

“Our cooks are dependable and tenacious in getting the meals prepared, transported, and served on time every day. The cooks care about the taste and presentation of meals, and are awesome at encouraging new foods. I would like to thank my wonderful hard working staff (Jacki, Jane, Jean, Patti, Donna, Barbara, Sharon, Beverly, Raymond, Kathy, Julie and Cheryl) and thank all food service cooks in Wisconsin! They are all superstars in my eyes.”
