SNEW Spotlight: Ruthann Scarlatella

In honor of School Nutrition Employee Week (May 7-11, 2012), we would like to feature a very special cafeteria manager from Milford Exempted Village Schools in Ohio!

Ruthann Scarlatella took on the challenging job of managing the Milford High School cafeteria this year.  They serve breakfast and lunch and feed 700-800 students daily.  A large variety of foods are prepared every day including an international bar, deli bar, a pizza & spud station, along with the main entrée, fresh fruit and vegetables.  Ruthann is extremely hardworking and has a good rapport with her staff and students.  She sets a good example for them and they look up to her because if it.  She is very approachable and co-workers call her a joy to work with.  We at Meals Plus and everyone at Milford High School thank her for doing such amazing job every day!
